Join Volunteer Memphis in giving back Saturday, November 19th for National Family Volunteer Day. Created 30 years ago by our partner Points of Light, National Family Volunteer Day celebrates the power of families working together to make a difference in their communities. This is an excellent way to spend quality time together while teaching children about the importance of giving back.  

Sponsored by United Healthcare and in partnership with the Memphis Rotary Club, MIFA, Believing Church and the Mid-South Food Bank, Volunteer Memphis will provide families, individuals and homebound seniors with meals and groceries in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. 

Mobile Food Bank hosted by Memphis Rotary Club and Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association 

When: Saturday, November 19th from 7:30 am to 11:00 am  

Where: St. Patrick Catholic Church, 277 South 4th Street Memphis, TN 38126 

Volunteers will be packing 50 meal delivery boxes for homebound seniors as well as distributing food to 500 families and individuals in a drive-through setup.  

Please park in the parking lot across from the FedEx Forum and wear comfortable clothing. Volunteer Memphis will provide shirts for all volunteers.
