Forest Supervisor's Order 01-17-55-22-016 Lochsa-Powell Ranger District
The purpose of this order is to minimize threats to the health and safety of the public and emergency responders and to protect natural resources from damage by restricting use on access trails and areas surrounding Weir Creek and Jerry Johnson hot springs on the Lochsa-Powell District.

Forest Supervisor's Order 01-17-55-22-017 Lochsa-Powell Ranger District
These restrictions are necessary to protect public health and safety, ensure the safety of motorized and non-motorized recreation users, and to help maintain and protect the groomed, motorized and non-motorized, winter trails from prohibited uses, within the Lolo Pass Winter Recreation Area.

Swan Creek Road #5503 is closed for health and safety during slide repair and road reconstruction. Effective September 29, 2022 through December 25, 2022, or until rescinded.

Hamby Saddle Warming Hut is closed for public safety due to a roof collapse and reconstruction operations. Effective Feb. 8, 2022 until rescinded.

Forest Service Road (FSR) 244D and FSR 1120 are closed for public safety during timber falling operations. Effective May 11, 2020 until rescinded.

A portion of Forest Service Road #1808 on the Red River Ranger District is currently closed to prevent damages to the roadway. Effective April 24, 2020 until rescinded.

Forest Supervisor's Order 01-17-05-19-005 Red River Ranger District
Forest Service road 311 is closed for approximately 100' on either side of Big Creek Bridge at milepost 10. for public safety during bridge construction activitiy. Effective September 18, 2019.

Forest Supervisor's Order 01-17-01-19-005 Salmon River Ranger District
Adams Rock Pit, located at approximately milepost 29.5 on the Grangeville-Salmon Road, is closed for public health and safety during rock crushing activity. Effective August 19, 2019.

Forest Supervisor's Order 01-17-05-19-003 Red River Ranger District
Forest Service Road #9867, aka Hot Oven Road, is closed from the junction with Highway 14 to the junction with FSR 1808 for public safety during logging activity. Effective July 17, 2019.

Forest Supervisor's Order 01-17-06-19-007 Moose Creek Ranger District
Forest Service Road #290, aka Indian Hill Road, is now open to motorized vehicles less than or equal to 50" wide. The road is still closed to full sized vehicles. This order replaces Forest Supervisor's Order 01-17-06-18-008, which has been rescinded. Effective July 17, 2019.

Forest Supervisor's Order 01-17-55-19-007 Lochsa-Powell Ranger District
Colt Creek Road #359 is closed to vehicles greater than 50 inches wide from the intersection with Elk Summit Road #360 to the end of the road at Colt Killed Creek Trailhead for public safety due to landslides. Effective July 8, 2019.

Forest Supervisor's Order 01-17-53-19-001 North Fork Ranger District
Closures are in place on Forest Service Road #680, aka Sheep Mountain Saddle Road; and Forest Service Road #681, aka Swanson Saddle Road, for public health and safety during road construction activities. Effective May 30, 2019. Roads are closed from 7 a.m. Monday mornings to 12 p.m. Friday afternoons, weekly until the closure is rescinded.

Forest Service Road #441, aka Nut Basin Road, is closed between the junctions with FSR 221 and FSR 2070 for public safety during road reconstruction. Effective May 16, 2019.

Forest Service Road #469, aka Peasley Creek Road, is closed for public safety beginning with the junction with U.S. Highway 14 due to a landslide. Effective April 26, 2019.

Forest Service Road #101, aka Smith Creek Road, is currently closed approximately 2 miles up from U.S. Highway 12 northward to the intersection with FSR 5503 for public safety due to a landslide and road washout. Effective April 11, 2019.
