American Rescue Plan Act Public Survey
The City of Laurel has been allocated $21.4 million through the American Rescue Plan Act, known as ARPA. The purpose of these funds is to help communities respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, address economic fallout, and lay the foundation for a strong and equitable recovery.
The U.S. Treasury released guidance on how these funds can be used to respond to immediate public health and financial stability needs, revenue shortfalls, and support households, workers, and businesses that were hit the hardest by the pandemic.
The City is seeking public input on how the ARPA funds should be spent in our community. Please review the the U.S. Treasury's summary of eligible uses before sharing your ideas.
