Capital Matchmaker: Funding for Small Businesses

A unique Capital Matchmaker in-person event in New Haven, connecting business owners seeking capital with SBA lenders from across the state. This exceptional event serves as a dynamic platform where entrepreneurs with promising visions can interact directly with a handpicked selection of SBA lenders.

Attendees will have access to:

  • Scheduled meetings with loan officers and others to discuss their business needs and finances
  • Lender tables where they can grab literature and meet staff
  • Concurrent workshops covering ways to prepare for loan application
  • Information on free and confidential support available through SBA Resource Partners

Please note the ability to setup meetings with lenders will only be available to participants registering through 10/29. 

Light refreshments will be served.

CTSBDC is partnering with SBA to bring you this event. We will be using a matchmaker platform called Eventdex to facilitate scheduling one-on-one meetings. CTSBDC will be sharing contact information for all registrants with our partner, SBA, and the platform provider, Eventdex to enable this process.

 

 

Once registered you will receive an e-mail from us with with details on the location & parking information. 

You will receive instructions to complete your profile and to request meetings with lenders via email from CTSBDC via valeria.bisceglia@uconn.edu, and ctsbdc@uconn.edu, and from Eventdex via support@eventdex.com, and orders@eventdex.com. Please add these email addresses to your safe sender list.

Registration Policies:

Registration and Fees: Most training events are provided at no-cost. In the case of there being a fee, payment of workshop fees may be made via the CTSBDC store on UConn Marketplace. For paid events, payment must be received to guarantee your space.

Refund Policy: If you wish to request a refund, please contact the conference organizer listed above to discuss. You may also elect to send a substitute in your place. If the event is cancelled, all fees will be returned.
