The job fair will be open to the public from 12:30 to 4:30 pm. Job seekers are encouraged to register via Eventbrite at hubsgethired22.eventbrite.com. This event is free to everyone. All candidates should dress professionally and bring plenty of resumés to distribute to employers.
Your mission is to make an "all out" effort to meet with every employer who has the potential to hire you. In order to make that happen you will need to be prepared. Preparation is the key to making a successful presentation at any job or career fair.
Prior to the Event (PREPARE!)
To make the most of the event, we also recommend the following:
Day of the Event (PERFORM!)
After the Event (PERSIST!)
After the event, you should make it a point to follow up with a letter expressing your interest in the company and in what they have to offer. You may want to include an updated résumé, a link to an electronic portfolio, or provide better answers to specific questions asked during the event. Thank you/follow up letters should be received by the employer within 2-5 days after an event.
