The deadline to submit your nomination is Friday, October 1st, 2021.


PRESENTED TO: The veteran in law enforcement, healthcare, emergency response, and/or public safety.

PURPOSE: To recognize and honor an individual veteran whose continued service, in a different capacity, positively impacts their community and its citizens.

ELIGIBILITY:
• Must be a veteran currently employed in the field(s) of law enforcement, healthcare, emergency response, and/or public safety.
• Submissions should include detailed description of the veteran's role, occupation, and any relevant data/information pertinent to the purpose of the award.

This program is administered by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency. Anyone can nominate candidates for this award, but the nominee must meet the eligibility criteria. Submissions will be reviewed by an independent panel. The award recipient will be honored at the Michigan Military & Veterans Gala on Nov 06, 2021, at Selfridge Air National Guard Base.
