We are honored to host the 14th annual Sara and Samuel J. Lessans Healthcare Symposium in conjunction with Suburban Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, with this year’s focus on: “Embracing Calm: Navigating Anxiety in the Senior Years.” The event was created with healthcare professionals in mind and will take place on May 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Woodmont Country Club, 1201 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. Attendees can join in person or virtually. Morning Keynote Speaker: Sandeep Jauhar, M.D., Ph.D., author, contributing opinion writer for The New York Times and practicing cardiologist. Dr. Jauhar will also discuss his most recent book, My Father’s Brain (2023), a memoir of his relationship with his father as he succumbed to dementia, focusing on the history and science of brain degeneration.
