RFP SUBJECT: AED Units and Accessories
This is notice of the state's cancellation of the solicitation identified above. A bidder or offeror who wishes to protest this cancellation must file the protest within ten calendar days following the date this notice is issued. If the tenth day falls on a weekend or holiday, the last day of the protest period is the first working day following the tenth day.

The State of Alaska, in cooperation with NASPO ValuePoint, is releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for AED UNITS AND ACCESSORIES. The RFP number is 2023-0200-5173. The purpose of this RFP is to establish competitive contract(s) for use by participating entities to obtain AED Units and Accessories. This solicitation may result in multiple awards. The objective of this RFP is to obtain best value, and in some cases achieve more favorable pricing, than is obtainable by an individual state or local government entity because of the collective volume of potential purchases by numerous state and local government entities.
The Master Agreement(s) resulting from this procurement may be used by state governments (including departments, agencies, institutions), institutions of higher education, political subdivisions (i.e., colleges, school districts, counties, cities, etc.), federally recognized tribal governments, the District of Columbia, territories of the United States, and other eligible entities subject to approval of the individual chief procurement official and compliance with local statutory and regulatory provisions

1. RFP Advertisement Date: May 23, 2023
2. RFP Pre-proposal Conference: June 8, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. AKDT
3. RFP Q&A Deadline: June 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. AKDT
4. RFP Close Date: July 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. AKDT (Extended deadline, see Amendment One)
Attendance at the RFP Pre-proposal Conference to be held through MS Teams is optional. Vendors that want to attend must register to receive the meeting link.
In order to register you must send an email to Joshua.Hartman@alaska.gov and include your contact name, company name, email address, and phone number.

Bidders must submit their bid via email to Joshua.Hartman@alaska.gov and must contain the RFP number (2023-0200-5173) in the subject line of the email.
All vendor proposals must be submitted by July 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Alaska Time (AKDT). Late proposals will not be accepted.
