Description

The California Arts Council is seeking an Outreach and Events Coordinator (Associate Governmental Program Analyst) to join our public affairs team. Under the direction of the Director of Public Affairs, the Outreach and Events Coordinator performs complex analytical, relational, logistical, and technical functions of the California Arts Council’s public affairs program. The Outreach and Events Coordinator coordinates all aspects of outreach and public events to support increased participation in all CAC programs, services, and workforce opportunities. The position utilizes tools for presentation technology (including PowerPoint, Google Slides); online event systems (including Zoom and EventBrite); research and evaluation tools (including Survey Monkey); social media technology (including Facebook Live, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn); various means of correspondence (including e-mail, letters, phone, online, and in-person); and skilled techniques for public communications, event coordination, community engagement, and public speaking.
