DO NOT BE A VICTIM - SCAM involving false expedited visa appointments

U.S. Consular Sections in Canada are aware of a fraud scheme whereby third parties advertise services to obtain expedited/earlier U.S. visa appointments. Scammers request that you send your account login information to them, take control of your account before demanding money to unlock your account or cancel your original appointment, and do not provide an actual service after taking your money.

Do not share your account login information with third parties.

If you have shared your information, you should immediately change your password to regain control of your account. If you have lost access to your account, please contact Canada.Visas@gdit-gss.com to request assistance with re-gaining access to your account. Please note that the process to reestablish your access may take weeks and if you lose your appointment, you will not be able to recover your original appointment date.

As U.S. consular sections across Canada increase the number of appointments available to the public, we are notifying some applicants with longer waits of their eligibility to schedule an earlier appointment. This service is free of charge.
