Under the matrixed supervision of the Deputy Director and Program Administrator, the Data Analyst will be responsible for monitoring the MAC Office's performance and tracking metrics related to attorney performance, the provision of direct and indirect services to attorneys and clients, and other metrics related to both agency cost-effectiveness and effective utilization of services. The Data Analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret statistical data in order to create reports, build dashboards, and provide analyses that drive organizational decision making. The Data Analyst's objective will be to ensure grant and regulatory compliance by providing data needed for TIDC reporting, monitoring attorney caseloads, and other related reporting needs. The Data Analyst will consult with internal and external stakeholders, identify alternatives, clean data to discard irrelevant information, and justify recommendations on data revisions. The Data Analyst will perform related work as assigned, including but not limited assistance with programming needs in order to implement the data necessary for MAC operational obligations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full life cycle of date analytics to include requirement gathering, analysis design, data collection, and cleaning, performing analysis, and reporting findings
Conducts research, analyzes data, and effectively communicates strategic data-driven recommendations
Perform basic data management, data cleaning, data analysis, and data visualization using tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, and PowerBI
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure analyses are aligned with TIDC reporting, monitoring attorney caseloads, and other related reporting needs
Perform ad-hoc data and programming requests to enable data-driven decision making such as creating reports, building dashboards, and providing analyses that drive organizational decision making

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, Information Management, Statistics, Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a related field from an accredited college or university
At least One (1) year of experience working on data projects including data query, cleaning, management, and analysis
At least One (1) year of experience using data collection and management tools like SQL, SSIS, SSMS
At least One (1) year of experience using statistical scripting languages like R and/or Python
At least One (1) year of experience using data visualization tools like PowerBi and/or Tableau
At least One (1) year of experience packaging data analytics projects to effectively communication recommendations of actions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of statistics and analyzing data sets; of running queries, report writing, and presenting findings; and of record keeping, including security procedures for handling, protecting, and distributing confidential data
Skill in the use of a computer and applicable software, in conducting data searches, in evaluating and translating large amounts of data, and in critical thinking
Ability to compile, review, and analyze data; to prepare reports; to maintain accuracy and attention to detail; and to communicate effectively

Regular Full-time
Monday - Friday | 40 hours a week
Nights and weekends as necessary
