COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — During May, On Our Sleeves – the national movement for children’s mental health powered by behavioral health experts at Nationwide Children’s Hospital – launched Operation: Conversation to encourage parents, caregivers and educators to take the first step and start, as well as continue, talking to their kids about mental health.
Tyanna C. Snider, PsyD, a pediatric psychologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital talked to Alissa Henry about how parents can start the conversation, as well as discuss other ways in which On Our Sleeves is raising awareness of mental health.
This Saturday, May 21, you can celebrate On Our Sleeves day with the Columbus Crew presented by Nationwide Children's Hospital.
$5 from each ticket to Saturday's match will be donated to support children's mental health!
The On Our Sleeves movement is the official child mental health cause of the Columbus Crew and on May 11th, Columbus Crew fans wrapped Lower.Com Field and set the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for longest sports fan scarf.
Now, you can own a part of the history by purchasing a “Wrap Them in Support” scarf that was used to reach the record at: https://event.gives/wraptheminsupport
100% of the proceeds will benefit the On Our Sleeves movement.
