Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Program
The Hearing Aid Coverage for Children Program (HACCP) offers hearing aid coverage to eligible children.
The online application portal for HACCP is currently available in the following languages: English, Español, 繁體中文, 한국어, Tiếng Việt, Русский, Hmoob, Հայերեն, العربية, Tagalog, Українська, فارسی, ខ្មែរ, ລາວ, 日本語, हिंदी, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, ภาษาไทย, and Mienh waac.
Eligibility Requirements
- Under 21 years of age
- California resident
- Immigration status not a condition of eligibility
- Household income under 600% of the Federal Poverty Level
- Not currently enrolled in California Children’s Services (CCS)
- Not eligible for Medi-Cal
- Does not have other health coverage that covers over $1500 per year in costs related to hearing aids
- Enrollment requires a valid hearing aid prescription or provider referral
