Isolated to scattered severe storms are possbible across inland southeast Misssisippi, inland southwest Alabama, and south central Alabama this evening. Storms will be capable of producing damaging winds of 60 to 70 mph and hail up to golf ball sized. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out but confidence is low in the tornado potential.
An Enhanced Risk of severe storms is in place roughly north of interstate 10. A Slight Risk of severe weather is in place south of there from Thursday night through Friday morning. Storms will be capable of producing damaging winds of 60 to 70 mph and half large hail. Wind gusts up to 75 mph will be possible in the Enhanced Risk area.
