family Accountability movement

We aim to build healthy relationships within families by using a holistic approach. We are committed to assisting our communities in changing the concept of how society views a typical African American family by creating a supportive village. We provide events and programs (FAM & MAM) that focus on healing, personal growth and bringing families within the community together.

FAM is to be that "village " to hold each other accountable in fatherhood. We do this by engaging and break bread with one another while creating a safe space. To share our journey as fathers with other participants and discuss the lesson along the way. We are committed to assisting our community's in changing the narrative of African American  fatherhood. By providing a space to heal, share, gain tools and skills to becoming a strong presence within the community and individual homes

In a traditional sense matriarchs are typically the oldest female member of a family or community; the position is not normally given but earned with age. Our idea of a matriarch is to empower woman to be positive leaders in their families and community by not neglecting themselves. This program will assist in helping those who identify as female to gain tools, provide resources to assist them in finding their voice and empower the next generation. We are committed to providing a safe place for developing each person's strengths and to support them individually. We do this by holding ourselves accountable to move with integrity and to be leaders to reflect the services we provide.

Youth Programing

We provide mentorship opportunities to female and male identifying youth ages 11- 24 years old. Our mentors aim to empower, inspire and motivate youth within African American communities to think outside the box. We will encourage youth to be authentic, educated, leaders, and never give up on themselves. We also encourage youth to self-love and build healthy relationships. We do this working by providing opportunities to build community ,problem solve and exchange ideas. We take genuine interest to help youth succeed by being transparent throughout the process of reaching their personal goals .
