Speaker Bios:

Robin Dunn taught music in Colorado for 30 years before deciding to devote the last portion of her life to a contribution toward the planet’s health. She has always loved compost and soil and gardening, and has spent the last two years studying soil health through programs provided by Elaine Ingham at soilfoodweb.com and Nicole Masters, author of For the Love of Soil. Robin has a vision for helping people turn their farms and backyards into “soil banks”, much like the seed bank in Svaalbard, Sweden. She has been astounded to learn the difference healthy soil can make in pollution mitigation, flood and drought mitigation, and making the food we eat more nutrient dense.

Michele Windsor has been the Program Manager at Oxford County Soil & Water Conservation District for the past 14 years. Her role has included providing technical assistance to land owners and municipalities, with a focus soil erosion and water quality issues. She is currently taking the lead on climate resiliency projects at the district’s Tenmile River Demonstration Forest.
