Our nationally recognized research has examined many aspects of hepatitis-related services with an eye to improving access to and quality of care.  Projects have examined perceptions of hepatitis C treatment initiation in methadone clients, adoption of HCV screening recommendations in primary care settings, the impact of hepatitis support groups, screening and vaccination in prenatal care and in drug recovery programs, barriers to hepatitis prevention, diagnosis and treatment,  epidemiology of hepatitis in drug treatment programs, and the impact of care coordination for under-insured hepatitis patients.
