2023 Mid-Year Data Update Released

From December 2022 through the end of May 2023, California Climate Investments programs implemented nearly $511 million through 7,326 projects that are expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 3.3 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent over project lifetimes. Over 84%, or $436 million, in implemented funds from this period are benefiting disadvantaged communities and low-income communities and households, collectively referred to as priority populations.

A brief introduction to the California Climate Investments program.

California Climate Investments projects are supporting new affordable housing, increasing mobility through transit, advancing low‑ and zero‑emission technologies, facilitating more sustainable agriculture, diverting organic waste from landfills to composting, and more. Across California, these projects are also creating and supporting employment opportunities and improving public health and the environment.
