Check out The Center for Multicultural Health's recently released anti-menthol PSA featuring youth from their STAND OUT program as well as from Apicat for Healthy Communities and Seattle Indian Health Board The piece, titled "Beautiful Lies, Ugly Truth" was created by the Tobacco, Marijuana, and other Drugs work group of the Healthy King County Coalition in order to draw attention to the harms of menthol cigarettes and to make our youth's voices heard in speaking out against big tobacco's targeting of minority communities.

ACRS Southeast Asian Youth Group for being the 2016 Who's Rising Contest winner! This group has really risen to the top by being the Washington State Champs for Best Prevention Project at the annual Washington State Spring Forum and for creating some amazing marijuana prevention videos such as "Clearing the Air". The SE Seattle PEACE Coalition members and youth from Aki Kurose Middle School received the 2016 Washington State Exemplary Community Coalition Award, at the Washington State Prevention Summit in Yakima, WA. The Coalition was recognized for outstanding drug and alcohol prevention education and messages to SE Seattle parents and youth. The PEACE Coalition provides parenting classes in 7 languages to over 300 parents and youth as well as prevention education workshops to over 300 youth each year. The Coalition's "206 Rising" "Most Steer Clear" and "Talk With Your Kids" media campaigns have been viewed by over 1 million people in King County.
