Mayor Muriel Bowser Presents: Art All Night 2024

DC Art All Night will occur from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM the following morning on two nights—September 27 and 28. The festival will take place in all 8 wards with different activations on each night, bringing visual and performing arts, including painting, photography, sculpture, crafts, fashion, music, literary arts, dance, theater, film, and poetry, to indoor and outdoor public and private spaces, including local businesses and restaurants.

Join Events DC at Day of Play at RFK Presented by Giant on Tuesday, April 16, 2024! During Spring Break, we will host a day of fun at The Fields at RFK (401 Oklahoma Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002) to allow DC residents an opportunity to play outdoors! This will be a free community-based event, with competitive field games, music, food trucks, and fun activities for all ages.

Dorothea Lange: Grab a Hunk of Lightning

Preceded by a recently produced National Gallery video, Photography Like a Great: Dorothea Lange featuring Washington, D.C. photographer and native Dee Dwyer. Dwyer pursues documentary and portrait photography on the vibrant streets of Washington. Her lens captures the heart and soul of the Anacostia community where she grew up. Inspired by Lange's storytelling, Dee crafts portraits that resonate with the struggles and triumphs of single mothers, drawing poignant parallels to Lange's legendary Migrant Mother.
