Autism Acceptance Month:

AAC App Sale

Twice a year (April and October), many AAC (alternative and augmentative communication) companies will put their communication apps on sale for 50% off their usual price. These apps tend to be quite expensive, so this is a huge deal!

An SLP that I discovered on Facebook named Lauren Enders Gonzales, MA, CCC - SLP, takes hours of her life to create wonderful handouts that tell you what apps are on sale and when.

We thought you'd like to know about this so please find below links to her visual PDF and to her text based document outlining all of the AAC apps that are on sale. There is also a small picture of the document below, which you can click on to get to the visual PDF.

Enjoy! And reach out if you any questions.

If you don't already know, it is possible to borrow an iPad from the Vermont Assistive Technology Program for the purpose of trying out an AAC app. If you need insurance to purchase a speech generating device for you or your child, please ask your speech and language pathologist to help with this process.

For more information, or to request an iPad loan, please visit our iPad Loan page on our website.

Please note that there is currently a significant waitlist for iPad loans at this time. Reach out early to get on the list.
