Who is HepCAP?

HepCAP members are case managers, doctors, students, lawyers, representatives from city agencies and people living with hepatitis C.  We are experts and we are people who want to learn more about the disease.  Everyone in HepCAP has one thing in common: we think hepatitis C is a disease that needs more attention and more support.  We know that we have the talent and resources in Philadelphia to make a big impact on this disease if we join forces as a community.

We are all in this together.

For too long, hepatitis C has been considered a silent epidemic.  HepCAP is going to end the silence in Philadelphia. By joining HepCAP, you can have a voice in developing projects that will raise awareness, help link more people with hepatitis C into services, and make an important impact on public health in Philadelphia.  You will also have the chance to meet a diverse group of people – all of whom are dedicated to making Philadelphia a leader in the fight against hepatitis C.

You can participate in HepCAP by coming to meetings, joining workgroup calls for specific projects, or keeping updated of activities through our newsletter.  A little bit of your time and energy can make a big difference in raising the profile of hepatitis C in Philadelphia.
