The Philly Joy Bank is a guaranteed income pilot that will provide pregnant Philadelphians with no strings attached cash with the goal of improving birth outcomes.

The Philly Joy Bank was developed by the Philadelphia Community Action Network (CAN), which is a collective impact stakeholder group that aims to reduce racial disparities in infant mortality. The Philadelphia Department of Public Health, Division of Maternal, Child, and Family Health is the backbone agency of the CAN.

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health anticipates launching the Philly Joy Bank program in spring 2024.

Visit the Philly Loves Families Facebook page or the PhillyCAN website, where updates on the program will be posted.
