Lunsford Construction Ribbon Cutting in Downtown Hopewell
You are invited to attend a ribbon cutting for a new project by Lunsford Construction at 256 E Broadway, Hopewell, VA. 23860. on Tuesday, Sept. 22nd at 5:30 PM. Please join us.
From owner, Dino Lunsford, about the property:
"We purchased the building on the recommendation of Charlie Dane. Upon inspection of it, many things had already been done by the previous owner. They left a lot of materials behind, as well. Once we purchased the building we quickly realized that a lot of the work was not up to code so we had to repair interior wall framing, remove the existing plumbing, and replace all of it. We were fortunate that we already had plans that we could use. We designed a new storefront that would compliment the existing structure as the front of the building has always been beautiful. A very European look. We installed new window units that matched the units already installed on the front of the building. The upstairs has 2 – 2 bedroom apartments and 1- 1 bedroom unit. We built all of the cabinets in house and used laminate flooring throughout. Granite tops and stainless appliances round out the apartments. On the first floor we decided to build a foyer and leave the retail space open. We will do an upfit if the tenant desires or they can do their own. We currently have 2 of the 3 units rented and are looking for a retail space tenant that will be the right fit for downtown."
