FY23 CALL FOR REVIEWERS: Department of the Interior (DOI) Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Grant Reviews (Updated)

The Office of Indian Economic Development (OIED) seeks grant application reviewers and Panel Chairs for our upcoming FY 2023 season!

UPDATE: The Office of Indian Economic Development will need experienced grant application reviewers for their Broadband grant review occurring January 6 – 25, 2023.

Reviewers must have 9:00 am - 5:00 pm MST availability for all designated application discussion days (see grant review schedules below).

All federally recognized tribal members with grant application review experience are strongly encouraged to apply. OIED is also especially interested in contracting with specific Broadband, Living Languages, and Business implementation/Incubator subject matter experts.

Availability for Grant Review:

All reviewers are required to remain available until the conclusion of the review (January 25, 2023), for any final questions from panel Chairs, Panel Managers or Review Directors concerning the evaluation summaries

Panel Discussion Schedule Timeframes

In order to gain consensus for a Panel Discussion time, we may need to reach out to you. We ask that you remain flexible.

What role are you interested in serving? *

Definition of Roles:

  • Reviewer - Reads applications, writes comments detailing how responsive the applicant is to each criterion found in the funding opportunity announcement, and provides scores. During panel meeting discuss scores and comments with other Reviewers and Chairperson.
  • Chairperson - Checks reviewer comments and scores, requests revisions/edits as needed, and consolidates individual comments into a Panel Summary Report. Facilitate panel discussions.

If you have previous grant review experience within the last 5 years, please list the most recent Federal agencies for which you served, the grant review subject or program area, and the year of review. (If none, please enter N/A.) *

In order to be considered as a reviewer for a DOI/BIA grant review, you must upload a current résumé’ (i.e., in MS Word or PDF format) or send it via email to DOIReview@grantreview.org. Your resume should highlight relevant education, subject matter expertise, and/or experience reviewing applications.
