Youth, Students, and Recent Grads

YCC

Three to 10 weeks of full-time paid experience working on fun and meaningful conservation projects.

21st Century CC

Complete your high school education while attending the largest residential career training program in the country.

Job Corps Students

Paid experience working on exciting conservation projects on Indian lands. Work 640 hours to earn a non-competitive hiring authority.

Public Land Corps

Paid experience working on conservation and stewardship projects. Work 640 hours to earn a non-competitive hiring authority.

Pathways Interns

Paid full or part-time for high school or college students typically 16 and up. Program lengths vary.

Resource Assistants Programs

Paid internships for college students and graduates 17 and up interested in conservation, natural resources, and more. Work 6 to 12 months and earn a direct hiring authority.

Presidential Management Fellows

Advanced degree holders compete in the Federal Government's flagship leadership program for a two-year full-time paid fellowship.

Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership. Paid public service internships in policy or scientific research, project coordination and management, business, law, communications, and more.

Full tuition, paid summer internship opportunities for students seeking certain bachelor’s degrees at one of the 19 historically Black universities.

Thrugood Marshall college Internship

Paid internships for undergraduate and graduate students in career fields such as Forestry, GIS, Public Affairs, Natural Resources, Research, and more. Earn a non-competitive hiring authority.

hispanic-association internship

Paid internships for undergraduate and graduate students in career fields such as Forestry, GIS, Public Affairs, Natural Resources, Research, and more. Earn a non-competitive hiring authority.

Wallace-Carver Fellowships

Paid fellowships for exceptional college and graduate students. Help with ground-breaking field and laboratory-based research, analyze policy, and manage programs.

YCC

Receive training and certification by performing direct, hands-on service in the areas of wildfire risk mitigation, reforestation, environmental conservation, and resource management.

Resource Assistants Programs

Receive full tuition, fees, books, a housing stipend, and paid workforce training to any interested and eligible student pursuing degrees in agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, or related academic disciplines at a Tribal college or university.
