The Arthritis Foundation's Walk with Ease Program is a community-based physical activity and self-management education program. While walking is the central activity, Walk with Ease is a multi-component program that also includes health education, stretching and strengthening exercises, and motivational strategies.
The Walk with Ease program is proven to:
(1) Reduce the pain and discomfort of arthritis (2) Increase balance, strength and walking pace (3) Build confidence in your ability to be physically active (4) Improve overall health
During this six-week program, participants are encouraged to walk on their own a minimum of three times a week. Every Monday, beginning September 19, 2022, the class will meet at Upper Bucks Senior Center from 10am-11:30am to talk about techniques for building and maintaining a sustainable walking program.
Space is limited, registration is required.
