Keep Testing Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor!

If you have already received a test kit, please continue testing twice per week as we continue to see increase in COVID-19 community transmission resulting from the Delta variant. The initiative has already distributed over 20,000 kits and has now concluded.

Use the Digital Assistant to walk you through how to use the test and to maintain a diary of your test results

Want to help more?

The SAY YES! COVID TEST Free At-Home Testing Challenge has ended but you may still receive tests at no-cost through a NIH funded study called STOP COVID-19. If you are interested in participating, please click "Learn About The Study". You will get access to more at home tests, complete surveys and can earn up to $100 in gift cards for your time.

Why say YES?

  • Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti residents can help reduce COVID-19 spread by testing at home and getting results in 10 minutes
  • People who don’t have symptoms can still spread COVID-19
  • Two tests a week helps find COVID-19 early, so you can keep your family and community healthy
  • Together, we can reduce COVID-19 spread right here where we live, work, learn, and play

Our Digital Assistant can help

While your test kit includes complete instructions, we also have a Digital Assistant to guide you through the whole process and remind you to test two times per week.

Who should test?

Choose up to two household members (age 8 and up) to test until all the tests in your kit are used. Prioritize those with the most contact outside the home and those who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have not had COVID-19 already.

who

Children, adolescents, and adults who are not yet fully vaccinated need more accessible testing to inform their choices. Free, rapid, self-administered testing will give community members one more way to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
