We're so excited that you are interested in learning more about the Office of Neighborhood Safety (ONS) Youth Leadership Council Action Plan Project! Please take a moment to provide your contact information so that we know who to expect for our Action Plan Project: Neighborhood Clean-Up Teams.
Our Action Plan this year will focus on establishing Neighborhood Clean-Up Teams in the following developments: Butler Houses (Bronx), Polo Grounds (Harlem), Queensbridge Houses (Queens), Stapleton Houses (Staten Island), and Red Hook Houses (Brooklyn). At these events, participants will be carrying out clean-ups on the developments. All participants will be given Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure their safety throughout the course of the event(s).
We will also be engaging community members in discussion, providing food/beverages, free clean-up-day swag, and providing $50 gift cards to participants.
Reminder: The ONS Youth Leadership Council amplifies the voices of young people (16 to 22 years of age) who live in ONS NYCHA developments to pursue social justice.
